DANCING EARTH, for EARTH DAY!

A GIFT ON EARTH DAY, OUR EMBODIED HOPES

All of you who love the experience of nature at National Parks, must be feeling the isolation pretty hard, so we invite you to stay safe at home while experiencing the power of the elements through our movements!

“In a moment of apocalypse, young Indigenous people find glimmers of resilience, hope, and  courage to dream in a  better future for the earth and all living beings.”

Sharing with you, a promo film of Dancing Earth’s
BETWEEN UNDERGROUND & SKYWORLD, BTW US,
filmed and edited by No Reservations Productions (Acoma Pueblo).

DANCING EARTH and Rulan were recognized in 2018-19 by the Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellowship, for work of Service, Justice, Freedom, Courage, and Gratitude.

DANCING EARTH Indigenous Contemporary Dance Creations is dedicated to making dance works to strengthen all peoples connections, to Indigenous cultures and to our land, water and skies. Banner photo by Karla Flores.

Fund the Future

We launched into cyberspace, recognizing the resources we do carry, of movement knowledge and caring compassion for communities around the globe.

This is an entirely new initiative, that takes Courage and Trust, as we are making this offering without any funding in place. We received one donation in March which covered our first few weeks of programming, and Rulan is donating her fee from academic researcher for writing of Dancing Earth’s response to virus, in order to continue until the end of April.

If you can donate any amount, one time only - or monthly, to support the continuance of these innovative offerings, together we can reclaim cyberspace for intercultural healing, resilience, and re-imagining the future!
