Rulan attended the Pachanga Verde event in San Antonio, Texas, at El Museo.This month, Blackfoot relative and Miss Blackfoot Canada Andrea True Joy Fox traveled to Albuquerque to compete for the coveted Miss Indian World title. She receives honorable mention for her public speaking, and also is noted for her talent show presentation, which is the dance solo created for her last summer in Blackfoot Territory. She wears a white bucksin gown made by her grandma, and the beaded belt of her grandfather, which accent her striking red haired beauty.The Lensic Theater in Santa Fe presents Black Grace, a significant company from New Zealand which incorporates Polynesian cultural dance into its choreographic development.
